VILLAGE WALKING TOUR ... First Saturday ... 10:00am-12:00noon
Sponsored by Claremont Heritage. Tour begins in front of the historic Claremont Metrolink Depot, 200 West First St. and ends with a tour of the newly restored College Heights Lemon Packing House, 500 W. First St. Led by a Claremont Heritage tour guide, this enjoyable walk includes the city's commercial, civic and college buildings bringing to life more than a hundred years of Claremont's history. CLAREMONT FOLK MUSIC FESTIVAL
30th annual event features a wide range of folk music, art and workshops. Located nearby the Village at the beautiful Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden, 1500 N. College Avenue (north of Foothill Blvd.). Local artists will be selling a variety of art, musical instruments and more. Gourmet food trucks, local micro-breweries and caterers provide refreshments in designated areas. Sponsored by Folk Music Center, 220 Yale Avenue in the Claremont Village.
